After attending this year’s Next.io Valletta Summit 2025 in gorgeous Malta, Team Affnook is still feeling the excitement each day! This was not simply an industry event for us; it was like being around family and friends who share similar goals – to improve both the iGaming and affiliate business worlds
During our time in Malta, Our main motive was not to collect business cards because what mattered most was being able to engage with others face-to-face about what they do, how they do it, and why they love being in this industry.
A Global Meetup in a Historic City
Valletta provided the perfect backdrop for hundreds of professionals to dive into the future of performance marketing. The streets were filled with talk of AI-driven marketing, better ways to find and keep players, and the ever-changing world of compliance. It was clear from day one that the industry isn’t just growing—it’s maturing. People aren’t just looking for “more” anymore; they are looking for “better.”
Choosing Conversations Over Sales Pitches
The best part of the summit was the depth of the discussions. Instead of the usual quick “what do you do?” pitches, we found ourselves in deep dives about the actual hurdles businesses face. We met with affiliate managers and tech leaders who all asked the same vital questions:
- “How can we stop wasting time on manual data entry?”
- “Is there a way to make our tracking more accurate?”
- “How do we build real trust with our partners through data?”
These are the exact problems we love to solve at Affnook. It was incredibly validating to see that our mission—simplifying the complex world of affiliate management—is exactly what the industry is craving right now.
Tech Should Make Life Easier, Not Harder
One thing became very clear during the summit: the days of messy, fragmented data are numbered. Companies are tired of jumping between different systems just to see if they’re making a profit.
When we talked about how Affnook brings everything into one clear, automated system, the response was a resounding “finally!” It reaffirmed our belief that technology shouldn’t be another chore on your to-do list; it should be the tool that gives you your time back.
Building Connections
Outside of the scheduled meetings, there was a lot of informal interaction in the corridors and when having coffee together. The Malta environment was very open and inviting and everybody, from a start-up entrepreneur with an amazing idea down to a top executive with an internationally recognised brand, was willing to share their experience and learn from others, no matter the level of experience of the other individual.
These informal opportunities to connect build the strongest connections, and serve as a reminder of the people behind every digital marketing campaign, every dashboard they managed, and every conversion they achieved – it’s about building a name for themselves within the community.
A Heartfelt Thank You

What’s Next?
Our time in Valletta reminded us why we do what we do. Nothing compares to the value of a shared idea and deep conversations. As we head back to work, we’re more committed than ever to building technology that brings clarity and efficiency to your daily life.
We can’t wait to see where these new partnerships take us. See you at the next one!
