Affiliate Audit System: A Smarter Way to Monitor Affiliate Campaigns

Affnook has introduced its new Affiliate Audit System, giving iGaming operators a structured way to review affiliate campaign activity, identify outdated or unauthorised tracking links, and improve day-to-day affiliate programme oversight.

As affiliate programmes grow, managing campaign access and tracking activity becomes more complex. An affiliate may be approved for multiple campaigns but actively promote only a few, continue using links from campaigns that have been paused, or share tracking links that do not match the operator’s configured setup.

Without a dedicated audit process, these issues can remain difficult to identify. The new Affiliate Audit System brings this visibility into one place through two key capabilities: Affiliate Audit Reports and Affiliate Link Audit.

How Does the Affiliate Audit System Help Monitor Campaign Activity?

The Affiliate Audit System gives Affiliate Managers and Admins a clearer view of how affiliates are using their approved campaigns.

With Affiliate Audit Reports, managers can select an affiliate and review their campaign activity across five key views:

  • Paused: Shows paused campaigns that have still received visitor clicks from the affiliate within the last 30 days.
  • Active 7 Days: Highlights campaigns that have received recent traffic from the affiliate.
  • Active 30 Days: Provides a broader view of campaign activity over the past 30 days.
  • No Traffic: Identifies approved campaigns that have not received traffic.
  • Available for Approval: Shows active campaigns that an eligible affiliate has not yet been approved for.

This makes it easier to identify outdated promotional links, review campaign engagement, and understand where an affiliate is actively sending traffic.

For example, if an affiliate continues to send traffic to a paused campaign, the Affiliate Audit System can help managers identify the issue and take the appropriate action. Similarly, campaigns with no traffic can highlight opportunities to reconnect with affiliates or review campaign access.

How Does Affiliate Link Audit Improve Tracking Link Checks?

The second capability within the Affiliate Audit System is Affiliate Link Audit.

Managers can paste raw Affnook tracking links into the system or upload up to 500 links through CSV for an instant configuration check.

The system checks whether each tracking link:

  • Is correctly formatted
  • Is connected to an existing campaign
  • Points to an active campaign
  • Is associated with the selected affiliate
  • Is configured within Affnook

Each link receives a clear status, helping managers understand whether action is required.

Possible results include Valid, Campaign Inactive, Unauthorised Access, Affiliate Mismatch, Link Not in Affnook, or Unrecognised Format.

This gives teams more than just an error message. It provides a clearer starting point for the next step, whether that means updating a tracking link, reviewing campaign permissions, contacting an affiliate, or investigating a potential attribution issue.

Where Can Teams Use the Affiliate Audit System?

The Affiliate Audit System can support several day-to-day affiliate management workflows.

Before processing affiliate payouts, teams can use link and campaign checks to identify potential tracking issues. During affiliate onboarding, managers can verify whether tracking links are correctly configured before an affiliate starts promoting.

The system can also support regular campaign engagement reviews. Managers can identify affiliates who are actively driving traffic, spot approved campaigns with no activity, and find opportunities to expand campaign participation.

For larger affiliate programmes, these checks can become increasingly important as the number of campaigns, affiliates, and tracking links grows.

Designed for Better Affiliate Programme Oversight

The Affiliate Audit System brings campaign activity and tracking link checks into a more structured workflow. Instead of reviewing campaign access and links manually across different places, teams can use one system to identify potential issues and decide what action to take.

Audit reports can also be exported to Excel, making it easier to share findings with teams and maintain operational records.

For affiliate managers, the goal is simple: better visibility, fewer manual checks, and more control over affiliate campaign activity.

As affiliate programmes continue to grow, having a structured audit process can help teams keep campaign access, tracking links, and attribution workflows aligned.
