Managing affiliate online gambling ad spend is difficult when advances, approvals, and actual spend are tracked separately. To function, operators and teams need to know what amount has been approved, how much has already been used, and how much remains available. All this must be done without losing the connection between each approval and the spend it covers.
Affnook is building a native wallet experience to bring these financial workflows into the platform. The broader advance spend wallet system is designed to give affiliates visibility into their balances and earnings while giving brands and platform teams more centralized control over financial workflows.
As part of this direction, the advance spend wallet workflow is specifically meant for managing approved advances and the ad spend verified against them. It records approved advance credit and verified ad spend as wallet movements. This further gives the teams a clear and understandable view of how funds are being utilized without any manual balance management.
Bringing Wallet Management Into Affnook
The advance spend wallet is part of Affnook’s broader wallet integration direction, which is designed to bring affiliate financial activity into the platform instead of relying on separate manual workflows. The broader wallet system is intended to give affiliates visibility into their balances and transaction history, while giving iGaming brands and admins more control over wallet and payout-related workflows.
For advance pay, this wallet functionality is specifically used to connect approved advances with verified ad spend, giving teams a structured way to track how an approved amount is being utilized.

From Advance Approval to Verified Spend
The advance spend wallet has a defined flow. When an advance receives approval from the brand manager and final sign-off from the CMO, the approved amount is automatically credited to the affiliate’s wallet. The affiliate can immediately see the updated balance, while the accounts team is notified to upload the relevant transaction documentation.
As an affiliate submits their ad spend, the wallet is debited only when the auditor marks the submission as “verified”. Before processing the debit, Affnook makes a check of the remaining advance balance to ensure that the verified spend does not exceed the amount available.
This creates a clear connection between the approval of an advance and the betting ad spend that is ultimately verified against it.
A Traceable Record of Every Wallet Movement
The credit and debit details are recorded in the wallet ledger as a permanent entry. This record includes –
- Transaction type
- Amount
- Currency
- Related advance or ad spend
- Person who triggered the movement
- Timestamp of the movement
The wallet also applies safeguards around active advances. An affiliate can have only one active advance at a time. This prevents a new request when there is an already existing advance that is pending or yet to be approved.
The request becomes available again only when the current advance is either approved or rejected.
Built for Consistent Wallet Operations
The wallet is designed so that wallet operations become complete as a whole. When an advance is approved, the status is changed just as the wallet gets credited. Similarly, a verified ad spend and its corresponding wallet debit are treated as one operation. This helps keep the wallet state aligned with the associated workflow status.
With the advance spend wallet feature, Affnook brings together advances, verified ad spend, wallet balances, and their concealed records into one structured workflow. This paves the way for the affiliate teams to manage and track advance-based spending within the platform.
